Weekend Getaway to Palm Springs!

Ever since I was little, Palm Springs has been one of  my favorite places for a quick getaway. My fondest memory as a little girl was stuffing my face with pancakes at Elmer’s knowing that we would be heading to the pool afterwards. Now that I am an adult, it’s the perfect destination to escape from reality to lounge poolside, soak up the sun, and enjoy some privacy at a stylish hotel. With the holiday chaos approaching quickly and the stress from planning a wedding, it was time for a much needed vacation. The only place on my mind was PALM SPRINGS!

We stayed at the La Serena Villas for a romantic and luxurious escape. Our villa included a private patio with a hot tub, fire-pit, and breathtaking views of the Jacinto Mountains. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Palm Springs, only a short walk away from the best restaurants, shops and night life. La Serena has the friendliest staff and, drum roll please…the hotel is dog-friendly!

Today I am sharing some of my favorite affordable outfits, activities, and restaurant recommendations for your next getaway to Palm Springs!

I wore this fun, flirty, and comfy maxi dress from Lulus upon arrival!

Spencers restaurant is one of my top recommendations for an elegant dinner for two. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating so it is perfect for any season. We chose to sit outdoors because of how pretty the outdoor decorations are especially at night. Don’t worry ladies, they have heaters to keep you warm during your meal if you’re there in “winter”. Besides the gorgeous atmosphere and delicious food, the restaurant is walking distance from La Serena Villas. Fur jacket is from Revolve and black satin dress is from No Rest for Bridget.

I soaked up the sun during the day poolside at our hotel La Serena Villas wearing a white Beach Bunny Swimwear bikini. Mod Party personalized white hat and a Nasty Gal cover up.

On our second night, we made dinner reservations at Azucar Palm Springs, which is located in the hotel, and requested to be seated on the rooftop called Sugar High. The food was absolutely incredible and the drinks were fabulous. The rooftop is super trendy and makes the perfect Saturday night dinner spot. Oh and don’t forget to bust out your smartphone cameras for those grammable moments!

Sunday morning came and we couldn’t resist breakfast at our villa. We ended up ordering room service and taking our breakfast outside to our private patio to enjoy by the fire-pit as we indulged in pure goodness. After breakfast, we experienced a relaxing couples massage at Whispers Spa at our hotel. It was the best way to end our stay before the drive back home to Newport Beach. After an amazing weekend getaway at La Serena Villas we give it four thumbs and 4 paws up! Thank you for a wonderful time!
